8 Indian Destinations Issue New Travel Guidelines

Amid the rising COVID cases, many states have issued new guidelines to keep both travellers and locals safe. 

If you are planning to travel this January, please take note of the following rules issued for eight destinations in the country.

Mizoram

All the entrants in Mizoram have to undergo a mandatory screening with a Rapid Antigen Test (RATg) for COVID-19. Only the asymptomatic people will be exempted from this screening, provided that they are carrying –

  1. A negative RT-PCR test report not older than 72 hours, or
  2. A certificate of discharge from home isolation or COVID care facility issued by the competent authority within 3 months prior to the date of entry.

Chhattisgarh

Passengers travelling to Chhattisgarh need to carry a negative RT-PCR report of a test done within 72 hours of arrival at the Raipur Railway Station, Airport and the Inter-state Bus Stand. Otherwise, samples will be collected at these places for testing. 

A night curfew has been imposed in Chhattisgarh between 9 pm – 6 am. Hotel, restaurants and food delivery is allowed until 11 pm.
