As there is a sudden increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country, many states have regulated their guidelines to curb the spread.
Here are the latest updates from four Indian states –
1– Manipur
In view of the rising Omicron cases, the Manipur Government has decided to impose a night curfew from 9 pm to 4 am with an exemption for essential services and medical emergencies. Music concerts, Thabal Chongba, celebratory feasts and large gatherings in enclosed areas or indoor halls are prohibited.

2– Uttarakhand
COVID-19 guidelines for the Dehradun Airport are also being regulated. As per the state health authorities, travellers have to carry the vaccine certificate showing two doses of vaccine (15 days cooling period after the second dose) or an RT-PCR negative certificate taken within 72 hours before the start of the journey. Otherwise, RT-PCR will be conducted on arrival at the airport free of cost.

3– Goa
Passengers travelling to Goa must take note of the new guidelines issued by the government of Goa. The new guidelines include 50% seating capacity for cinema halls, auditoriums and community halls, cruises, water parks and entertainment parks.

4– Karnataka
The state has imposed a night curfew from 28th December to 7th January, 2022, from 10 pm to 5 am. In accordance with the night curfew, two-wheelers will not be permitted to enter Bengaluru airport premises between 9 pm on 31st December 2021 and 6 am on 1st January 2022, unless an authorised employee ID card or valid air ticket is produced as a proof.
