New Travel Guidelines issued by 5 Indian Destinations

As there is a sudden increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country, many states/UTs have issued new guidelines to contain the spread of the virus.

Chhattisgarh

Passengers travelling to Chhattisgarh need to carry a negative RT-PCR report of a test done within 72 hours of arrival at the Raipur Railway Station, Airport and the Inter-State Bus Stand. Otherwise, samples will be collected at these places for testing.

A night curfew has been imposed in Chattisgarh from 9 pm – 6 am. Hotel, restaurants and food delivery is allowed until 11 pm.

Mizoram

All the entrants in Mizoram have to undergo a mandatory screening with a Rapid Antigen Test (RATg) for COVID-19. Only the asymptomatic people will be exempted from this screening, provided that they are carrying –

1) A negative RT-PCR test report not older than 72 hours, or
2) A certificate of discharge from home isolation or COVID care facility issued by the competent authority within 3 months prior to the date of entry.
