Latest COVID-19 guidelines issued for Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Karnataka

With a rapid increase in COVID-19 cases across the country, several states are implementing stringent restrictions to curb the spread of this infection.

Health authorities and government bodies are urging passengers to carefully check their destination states’ COVID-19 travel guidelines before planning a trip.

In order to contain the second wave of COVID-19, the government of Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Karnataka have issued fresh guidelines for the travellers.

Rajasthan

As per the guidelines issued by the government of Rajasthan, an RT-PCR test report conducted within 72-hour is required for passengers coming from other states. The passengers not having the report, will have to quarantine for 15 days.

Gujarat 

According to the guidelines issued by the Government of Gujarat for the prevention of COVID-19, all the passengers coming from Maharashtra by air or railways, have to carry RT-PCR negative test reports taken within 72 hours before travelling.

Passengers not having the RT-PCR test reports shall compulsory undergo the test at the airports on their own cost. There’s a COVID-19 testing facility at the arriving area for all the domestic travellers. 

Passengers who test negative, will be allowed to continue the journey. Passengers who test positive will be sent for institutional quarantine.
