The Central Railway has invited applications for 2422 posts of apprentices. The application process began on 15th December and will close at 5 PM on 15th January.

Here are the complete details:

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicants must be at least 15 years old and not older than 24 years, as of 15th December 2022.
• The upper age limit has been relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, and by 3 years for OBC candidates. 
• A relaxation of 10 years is provided to Person with Disability (PWD) candidates.
• The upper age limit is relaxed up to an additional 10 years for ex-servicemen based on the extent of their service in the Defence Forces, plus 3 years if they have served for at least 6 months at a stretch.

Educational Qualifications:

The candidate must have completed 10th class or its equivalent in the 10+2 examination system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board.

They must also have a National Trade Certificate from the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or a provisional certificate issued by the NCVT/State Council for Vocational Training. 

Application Fee: ₹100 (non-refundable)
SC/ST/PWD/Women applicants don’t have to pay any fee. The payment should be made online.
