Several Trains Cancelled, Diverted And Short Terminated
Various zones of the Indian Railways have announced partial cancellations or diversions of trains due to a number of reasons. One of the most common reasons for such delays is the interlocking work that is happening on a large scale across the country.
Here are some of the important announcements:
1– The South Eastern Railways has tweeted about the regulation of train services due to developmental works. Train number 08024 Gomoh – Kharagpur Special leaving Gomoh on September 26th, 2021 will be short terminated at Salboni. For full news, check out the official tweet —

2– The North Eastern Railways tweeted about the cancellation/diversion of trains due to interlock work between Chaura – Pokhrayan – Malasa Stations on Jhansi – Kanpur Central section. Train no.09465 Ahmedabad – Darbhanga weekly special train set to depart from Ahmedabad on September 24th will remain cancelled. 3– The Western Railways on Thursday informed travellers about the cancellation and diversion of several trains due to interlocking work in the Jhansi Division of North Central Railways.
In connection to non-interlocking work in Jhansi Division of North Central Railway, few Western Railway special trains will be cancelled/diverted.

4– The South Central Railways also tweeted about several trains being short terminated due to interlocking work.
